Why have apologies been a huge thing, these past few weeks? As humans, we’re prone to err. But that doesn’t mean we should make it an excuse every single time. We’ve also been given our common sense so we can think things through before we say or even do some things.

ON GOSSIPERS AND RUMORMONGERS
It’s important to be careful and discerning of things we are told. No matter how tempting it is to get into all the juicy details, there are three sides to every story. When you are on the receiving end of gossip, it’s best to pause and ask yourself:
- What do I get out of this information? How will it help me if I know this?
- Am I directly involved? Can I talk to the person to clarify the truth?
- Is it necessary that I spread this around?
Also when it comes to gossipers, remember that if they can gossip about others, they can definitely gossip about you.
GOD WROTE OUR LOVE STORY
So for the first time ever, I introduce you all to my boyfriend Dave! In this video we talk about our journey as we sought God, surrendering control and letting Him just write our story.
A lot of you are probably wondering: “Wasn’t she a #HappySingle? What made her get into a relationship?” I asked myself the same thing when I was discovering my feelings for Dave. I’ve come to a point in my single life wherein I was already okay with just me and God but sometime in 2016-2017, I opened myself up to the idea of relationships but struggled with it. In my head I was thinking: “Lord, okay… I’ll be open but I don’t want to be with someone who will hurt me. You know how I’m scarred by the stories of my friends when it comes to adultery, third parties/infidelity, etc.”
I was fearful. I held on to the single life like a shield until it became an idol in my heart, which God had to break. In 2014, prior to surrendering in the area of relationships to the Lord, one of the last entries I had in my prayer journal was for my God’s best. I forgot all about that prayer when I embraced being single for the Lord. When Dave laid down his intentions, I revisited my past prayer journals and came across THAT PRAYER. I teared up upon realizing that Dave was all of that and so much more. As our friendship deepened and as I got to spend more time with him, I saw how the Lord mindfully molded his character, skills and love for the Word. [WATCH] BROWS AND LIPTINT AFTERCARE AND HEALING
How exactly do you care for your newly-tattooed brows and lips?
#1 Rule is to not get both areas wet for at least 24 hours.
That means, you cannot swim, wash or heavily sweat right after your procedure. Why? You want to protect your brows and lips from infection. They will give you an antibiotic and other aftercare ointments. For the brows I had to apply the antibiotic ointment for two days. For the lips, I had to put the cream on for 7 days. And no, you cannot use lip color while your lips are healing. Get a better idea of the aftercare in the video. I detail everything here:

[WATCH] PERMANENT BROWS AND LIPTINT AT PRETTY LOOKS
In this video I take you through my S3 Eyebrow Stranding & Cherry Blossom Lip Tint procedure at Pretty Looks Uptown Mall. 🙂 Although I already had my eyebrows done last year, the pigment eventually faded (virgin brows, to blame?) so I’m glad I was able to have it done again by Pretty Looks.
Decades ago, getting your eyebrows tattooed was something you wouldn’t openly discuss with anyone. The dead giveaway would be when your brows begin to turn gray, dark green or bluish. Today, people are more open about permanent make-up, especially now that #EyeBrowsOnFleek is a huge trend globally. Still, we have to admit that not everyone has all the time in the morning to draw on the perfect arch. Over the years, there’s been great improvement on both the eyebrow tattoo technique and the pigments used by aestheticians. With the modern formulation, you no longer have to worry about your brows turning into an unsightly, artificial color and the stranding techniques mimic the look of real brow hair.
The whole brow procedure was done in 45 minutes. Blair was so gentle during the entire procedure, it was virtually painless. She would often ask me if I was feeling okay and I appreciate that she truly cares for her clients.

Visiting Pergamum – The Compromising Church | 7 Churches of Revelation Tour
The church in Pergamum (modern-day Bergama) was the third to receive a letter in the Book of Revelation. While they were commended for staying true to Jesus, they were rebuked for some of them followed false teachings.
Pergamum/Pergamon was a wealthy city that was known for its healing center–the Asclepion, its library–which boasted of 200,000 volumes written on costly parchment (sheep skin) and its temples dedicated to the Emperor Trajan, Athena and Zeus.
