Another one of those “driving all by myself” adventures. I’ve been to Tagaytay Highlands several times but never got to drive on my own to the Midlands–so this is a first! It was scary going up because it’s mostly uphill and I was getting paranoid that my car would break down or something. Eep! Thank God it didn’t.
I love midday weddings, specially when they’re held at cool, open spaces that are close to nature. There’s something so charming about Clear Water Rest House–the green open lawn, the quaint cottage where preps can be done and the spacious patio that provides an excellent view of the Taal Volcano.
After the morning ceremony at Caleruega Chapel, guests arrived a little before lunch and entertained themselves to the brim by taking photos at the patio, posing for snaps at the photo booth and enjoying the candy bar. The weather cooperated so well. It didn’t rain and the sun gleamed with just the right intensity. Got to work with Jeo and Agnes Odulio again of Empire Weddings. More on the vlog below

A game-free wedding reception program doesn’t mean you skip out on the fun! Cris and Roanne made sure their guests were entertained with great music from G7 band and Filipino cultural dances from the Salinlahi Dance Troupe. In addition to the sumptuous dinner, guests were treated to the different food carts/booths like Bono Gelato, Mixed Mobile Bar, Figaro Coffee, Krispy Kreme and Mr. Franks.
It was a bit hard to choose and fit tons of footage in under 5 minutes! But all in all, I would like to just thank my dear friends, clients, couples, brands, coordinators and organizers for a fun peak season in the midst of reading assignments and papers for my MA. Praying for more partnerships, projects and events this 2018. The Lord bless and make Himself known to you increasingly!

Hey everyone! Here’s a peek of another wedding workday. After two years of planning and exchanging emails, Juan and Joanne finally tied the knot. The ceremony was held at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Bel-Air, Makati followed by the reception at the Silk Pavilion of Blue Leaf Events Pavilion. Watch the VLOG below:
I’ve heard of Balay Indang from my church friends. It’s a popular destination for retreats, camps and even weddings. In photos, I initially thought it was a small, quaint place only to be surprised by the lush floral gardens and spacious lawns. If you want time away from the city and feel the need to reconnect with God in a peaceful place with no technological distractions, Balay Indang is worth the visit.

Looking at my calendar for the month of May has made me realize that I am in dire need of more nature time. Growing up in Rizal, I loved waking up to the sound of birds chirping, the cool air and the sight of lots and lots of trees which unfortunately, I no longer get enough of since we moved to the concrete Kingdom of Makati. There’s something about communing with nature that calms and heals the frazzled soul. I remember in college, I’d always look forward to days when my classes would end right before lunch because that meant I’d have time for a nature walk. Leading naturalist Richard Louv, author of The Nature Principle says “We can be happier, healthier, and smarter if we weave more nature into our lives,”
I was so delighted to receive an invitation from the sales team of Sandari Batulao to check out the sprawling residential mountainside community which is quickly becoming a popular destination for camping, outdoor activities and weddings. Conveniently situated at the foot of Mt. Batulao and Mt. Talamitam, the temperature and wind feels noticeably different despite the hot summer weather.
