Checking out the NU Skin Expo

Dave and I checked out the NU SKIN Expo held at the NU Skin Philippines HQ. We got to try out the Galvanic Spa (which helps combat aging!), their Epoch Essential Oils, their Trimshake and their body analysis machine which revealed that my body age is 5 years younger than my real age!

The S3 Biophotonic Scanner also revealed my skin carotenoid score which is an indicator of the tissue carotenoid concentration and antioxidant levels of my body. If you get a 10,000-19,000 score, that means 1) You don’t consume enough vegetables, fruits and supplements 2) You’re under a lot of stress; high sun and pollution exposure and 3) You smoke or are always exposed to someone who smokes.

If you get a 30,000-39,000 score, you 1) Get a moderate amount of fruits and vegetables 2) Have regular supplementation 3) Moderate stress, sun, and pollution exposure.

40,000-50,000 means you consume huge amounts of fruits and vegetables, have optimal supplementation, low stress, sun and pollution exposure. I was surprised that I got 60,000! ūüėÄ All that vegan food is doing me good! Watch the different stations we visited in the vlog below

[WATCH] MICHAEL AND RONICA’S WEDDING AT CLEAR WATER REST HOUSE, TAGAYTAY

I love midday weddings, specially when they’re held at cool, open spaces that are close to nature. There’s something so charming about Clear Water Rest House–the green open lawn, the quaint cottage where preps can be done and the spacious patio that provides an excellent view of the Taal Volcano.

After the morning ceremony at Caleruega Chapel, guests arrived a little before lunch and entertained themselves to the brim by taking photos at the patio, posing for snaps at the photo booth and enjoying the candy bar. The weather cooperated so well. It didn’t rain and the sun gleamed with just the right intensity. Got to work with Jeo and Agnes Odulio again of Empire Weddings. More on the vlog below

A GAME-FREE WEDDING CAN BE JUST AS ENTERTAINING!

A game-free wedding reception program doesn’t mean you skip out on the fun! Cris and Roanne made sure their guests were entertained with great music from G7 band and Filipino cultural dances from the Salinlahi Dance Troupe. In addition to the sumptuous dinner, guests were treated to the different food carts/booths like Bono Gelato, Mixed Mobile Bar, Figaro Coffee, Krispy Kreme and Mr. Franks.

PEAK-SEASON THANK YOU VIDEO | Ingrid Nieto Vlogs

It was a bit hard to choose and fit tons of footage in under 5 minutes! But all in all, I would like to just thank my dear friends, clients, couples, brands, coordinators and organizers for a fun peak season in the midst of reading assignments and papers for my MA. Praying for more partnerships, projects and events this 2018. The Lord bless and make Himself known to you increasingly!
Love, your quirky vlogger/host, Ingrid.

VLOG: THIS IS WHAT A FULL DAY IN CHURCH LOOKS LIKE

Saturday is usually ministry day for me, except if I have trips, workshops to attend/teach or events to host. Our leaders’ meeting for our Bible Study Fellowship evening women’s class in Ortigas is held Saturday mornings at 6:30. We prepare for class night, have separate leadership development sessions and we get to engage in God’s Word by sharing in the discussion questions and homiletics.

*Thanks to my fellow GL Riva for taking and sharing these photos!

For this particular Saturday, we had our leaders’ fellowship (we do this once a month) so we had time to catch-up and enjoy delicious finger food. ūüôā

Following immediately was the launch of S.H.E., the support group for single young professional women in GCF. We invited blogger, speaker and homeschooling advocate Joy Tan-chi Mendoza to speak. She happens to be the niece of Tita Mina, one of the core members of the GCF Ortigas Women’s Ministry team. She brought along all five of her children, who she says are always with her and Edric (her husband) whenever they have speaking engagements.

Joy spoke on Identity: The P’s of God’s Best Life for You (Colossians 3:1-17):
1) Know your Purpose
2) Obey His Principles
3) Order Your Priorities
4) Elevate Him with Your Pursuits and Passions
5) Discover His Pleasure and Peace

Sorry if the bullet points are bitin. I tried to take down notes but I was busy making sure the camera was running well and we were still within the allotted time. The ladies looked forward to the QandA session where Joy answered questions about singlehood, homeschooling her kids, growing up, her background, married life and faith. Watch the VLOG below for more!

After the launch, I had a bit of a break so I changed to more comfy clothes. Youth worship followed at 5pm and then we also had the Youth Leaders Mentoring Session facilitated by Kuya Ave Gaspar. He taught us how to use the Precepts material for our discipleship meetings. Precepts is in-depth Bible study which challenges you to delve deep into God’s Word without the use of commentaries. You focus only on the Bible and let it speak to you as you break down the passages and do word studies.

I realized I’ve already written too much. ūüôā Go watch the VLOG below and make sure you SUBSCRIBE and give it a thumbs up! Thanks and God bless you!

COMPLETE YOUR HOME WITH SM HOME

I’m so happy to have attended a milestone of the SM Home department! My friend Tom (SM Home’s AVP for Marketing) brought his team together to mount this year-long campaign to inspire home-loving shoppers with design ideas featuring items that can be bought from the SM Store.

The different vignettes were set up by an eclectic mix of established and up-and-coming stars in the industry including Nina Santamaria of Grupo Santamaria, Angelo Siochi of AG Siochi, Misty Floro and Pai Edles of Morfosis and Iriss Mangio of ILM Interiors. Watch the video below:
