In celebration of Women’s Month, global brand Shiseido staged another institutionalised event that revolved around the theme of “empowering women through beauty”. Gone are the days when people would raise their brows on women who had a huge interest in make-up and skin care. Thanks to our quick-paced online world, more people have been “schooled” via online magazines, beauty blogs and videos, making them realise that if they put a little effort into looking good, it can make a huge difference in the way they carry themselves. I’ve always believed that if you take good care of your skin and know the right kind of make-up that plays up your assets, it does wonders for your confidence.
I got the chance to attend the first day of the Shiseido Beauty Fair at the SM Mega Fashion Hall with the ladies of Sample Room. Shiseido flew in seasoned beauty consultant Ms. Naka Maeda from Osaka, Japan to do live demonstrations of systematic Japanese skin care using the Spring/Summer product line.
The 2015 International Beauty Fair will run in 3 premiere malls this month:
