I first came across Lulu Nails and Dry Bar during a feature in an early morning weekend show. The proprietors, Irene and Cherry, walked the host through their homey and relaxing nail spa while explaining the concept behind the business which was not too far from their personal interests and hobbies.

Irene shared that their service menu was food-themed since they both enjoy eating and experiencing different restaurants and cuisines. Don’t get the wrong idea though; the spa isn’t set up like a restaurant! When customers walk in, a very feminine facade welcomes them: to the left are three manicure tables with custom-made chairs that bear the faces of Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Jackie O.
The nail bar stands behind the seats, flashing its armament of assorted nail polish colors from Seche, Orly, OPI and Misa.

The day of my visit was also the launch of Seche, the world’s best-selling top-coat. Beauty bloggers who came were treated to a wonderful afternoon of luxurious pampering, Lulu Nails-style! We also got to sample the Seche line.
