Bohol Blog 1: Beautiful Eskaya

I haven’t been able to properly blog about my Bohol trip. It’s been 10 years since I last set foot there. I’ve visited Tarsiers in the past and also the Chocolate Hills but it was my first time at Eskaya. Hopefully it won’t be the last because the place is truly paradise!

I wouldn’t mind having to come home to a landscape like this!
This right here is the pool view outside the spa room!

How wondrous is God’s creation?

Yep, there’s a veranda that looks out into the ocean. The breeze and the sound of the waves are very calming. I can imagine myself sitting in that small table with my laptop, happily writing and studying God’s Word. This is an ideal place for a date with God.

Oops wait! Commercial!!!
While I was taking photos of practically every corner of Eskaya, I had the brilliant idea of using Eskaya as the backdrop for a Senadora New Home feature on Yes Magazine:

If you’ve been reading this blog for the past few years, you’d know where I’m getting at 🙂 Senadora Ingrid is running for re-election in 2013, so magazine features are always welcome :-p hahaha

Of course Senadora Ingrid had to pose.

Senadora’s timba! Hahahaha

Yep there’s a waterfall with a rock in the middle (specially made for Senadora Mermaids like me)
Goddess of Belly Dance Jill Ngo, Red Lim and Senadora

I met Assistant Resident Manager Red Lim when we were about to start the dinner event. He wasn’t intimidating at all as he welcomed everyone and even offered to take photos as people walked into the open terrace. He’s a nice, young man who is literally living the beach life! 🙂

The following photos were taken by our photographer Larry Bolotaolo. 🙂
