So much to be grateful for this Thursday!

Thankful Thursday! On my way to work today, I decided to just have coffee but had no idea what to have for lunch. The original plan was to cook pinakbet, but my early morning tasks ate up my intended prep time.

Upon arriving at the station, I thought of getting a lunch meal at 7-11 when I was informed that someone had brought us lunch. Thank you Lord and thanks to that kind person who sent over chicken, shrimp, soup, bananas, dessert & drinks for the Mellow staff! 🙂

When I got to the booth, Stan (Mellow 94.7) was smiling from ear to ear. Then two pretty girls came into view. Figures! He was talking to Patti Grandidge & Kim Jones, the fabulous hosts of Etcetera, a new show on ETC which will start airing on October 23, Sunday. The girls & the ETC people were so sweet, they gave us Krispy Kreme donuts. 🙂

As I settled into the booth, the chocolates from DJ Tracy came into view. I DON’T SAY NO TO CHOCOLATES. :-p Thank you DJ Tracy for being so thoughtful! We left some for all the other DJs, just so you know DJ Jaybee.

The surprises were not over–our good friends from Gardenia walked in and told us about HAPPY BREAD DAY. They’re inviting everyone to celebrate at their Laguna Plant where you can have a free tour of how 6,000 loaves of bread are made PER HOUR! If you’re interested, call them at 889-8890 or visit gardenia.com.ph.

Stan and I then enjoyed our lunch feast while playing music. The chicken was sooo good and the soup too. I loved the fruit salad we had for dessert.

Around 1:30, David DiMuzio walked in to set up for his Stage 1 performance. It was great talking to this singer/song writer/juggler/speaker/over-all charmer and hearing him perform his original songs amp; OPM covers. You can find out more about him at daviddimuzio.com if you wanna get his CD and watch his gigs. I am grateful for the opportunity to talk to such a wonderful, grounded musician.

Thank you for another day on the cruise ship Lord. 🙂 Thank you for wonderful workmates, for great music, clients/partners, people who visit us & the listeners.

It’s not Thankful Tuesday, but what are you grateful for today?
