1. I was so thrilled because Queenie of Sony BMG walked into the station with a special gift–LEA SALONGA’S YOUR SONGS audio cd w/ bonus DVD. I so wanted to scream!!!

2. My friend Tin from Galderma Philippines gave me an entire bag of skin care goodies! Cetaphil soap, cleanser, moisturizer, sunblock… NAME IT! I also received very useful stuff from L’oreal. Oh thank you Lord!

3. I attended the press conference of Maxi-Peel’s Exfoliant Nation and revelled in Marian Rivera’s gorgeousness! Members of the media received a cute gift bag with the whole Maxi Peel product line.

4. I received more Human Nature stuff and a spacious tote bag! I really love the new Balancing Toner and the Sunflower Cleansing Oil which easily removes make-up and grime. Also, the All-Natural Spray Sanitizer smells so good! 🙂

With that I end today’s post. I’m thankful because I really feel God’s provision for my needs (and sometimes wants) in amazing ways. I don’t think I was able to tell you about the toothpaste story from a year ago. I was on my way to work when I noticed that we ran out of toothpaste. I made a mental note to buy toothpaste at the grocery before going to work. So I dropped by, purchased a tube and drove off to Mellow. After my boardwork, Ate Marge called me and handed me a basket of toothpaste from Colgate! Imagine that! I didn’t even tell anyone that I’d have to buy toothpaste or anything but I know God knew! Whoa. A basket of toothpaste!

God meets our needs in unique and unexpected ways. Let’s learn to trust Him not only for the big things we know we can’t afford or do, but even in the little things. Think about the many times God has come through and provided for you. Count your blessings instead of complaining that you don’t have this or you don’t have that. Stop comparing yourself to your neighbor who you think has more than you do, when in fact you are very blessed to have a roof above your head, food to eat and clothes to wear.

Matthew 6:31-34 “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
