07/29/2010 LIFE LESSONS THURSDAY

Life Lessons Thursday:

Give me a lesson you picked up from someone you look up to.

How are you applying that lesson to your life?

Darkscheneider: Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them – Work, Family, Health, Friends and Spirit and you’re keeping all of these in the Air.
You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back.
But the other four Balls – Family, Health, Friends and Spirit – are made of glass. If you drop one of these; they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for it.”

WORK EFFICIENTLY DURING OFFICE HOURS AND LEAVE ON TIME. GIVE THE REQUIRED TIME TO YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS & HAVE PROPER REST.From my supervisor
Issa T: Hi Guys, I have learned a lot from my cell leader in the church ,she didn’t just tell me things but showed it and modeled it to me. She made me see things that I dont really need in life and taught me to let go of those things so I can be all that God calls me to be. its amazing really, its not about taking the easy life, but living an exciting and fulffiled life bacuse I have fought the good fight of faith..:)
Micoh S: hi.one person i really looked up to is my grandfather who passed away 5 yrs ago. he thought me how to be strong and firm in my decisions and to be resposible in every thing i make..pls play the song cry by kelly clarkson.
Shina: I picked this lesson from a wonderful Christian that I met a year ago. I really look up to her and admire her faith as well. I learned from her the fight for your right without stepping someone else. Just do the right thing and let God and the situation fight for you. I also want to share these words of wisdom from her, she said work as If you’re doing it for God. I always remember that specially those times that I want to quit work because it’s so hard. Well I always learn a lot of good things from my parents and mentors but I want to give the recognition on her today.
Kim: I got this important lesson from my Boss..i really admire her coz she’s no ordinary boss..and im really thankful to God that I have a boss as wonderful as her..when I was about 2months here in my work,i want to quit.i told her i want to resign.the job is too stressful and i was overwhelmed by the responsibilities assigned to me.i also said im not happy..we had a one on one talk.she told me she’ll be there everytime i need her.i can always ask her and she’s more than willing to answer all my queries and help me in every way possible.she’ll train me so i would be effective..and she said i shouldn’t give up that easily. stress is always a part of an accountant’s work..it’s also not advisable to stay for just a short time in a company because u’l always compare it with the previous one
Angelina Jologs: I know this person or character may seem fictional to many or he may be just a simple man with little brain activity or Low IQ . But for me Forrest Gump is the man with the purest and good intention (in the movie at least). He rose above his challenges, proved that determination, courage, and love are more important than ability. His statement “Mama always said life was like a box a chocolates, never know what you’re gonna get.” And i believed that since then…If Rene Paras is a part of that box, he’ll probably be a Dark Chocolate, bitter! Dats ol . Thank You. But at least dark chocolate is good for the heart! yihiy!
Queenie D: ‎”Never Explain! You’re friends don’t need it and the people won’t beleive it!”
That I learned from my ate Nesta (my Taekwondo teammate) 🙂
Ian O: It’s always better to accept the fact that you’re not appreciated, than to insist yourself to someone who never sees your worth. Well, the phrase says it all; I don’t have to explain further. Just want to say hi to everyone especially to the hunk – rene, Angelina jologs, manager jp and twilight addict sarah. And to you teacher Ingrid and Mr. V.! Sorry, Ermitanyong Stalker is missing in action and on an indefinite leave. Fixing and patching things up. Thanks Teacher Ingrid! 🙂 Take Care!
Jelyne A: Never say Never. Well if you want to achieve something you really wanted in life you have to work for it. Don’t say that life is difficult because there’s no easy journey in life and we have to be more adaptive to the changes in order to survive. Pls. Greet Rogelio I’m missing you so bad, uwi kn agad sa akin.. pls. play True Colors by Cindy Lauper Thank you so much Dj Ingrid.. Godbless!
SarahLou: Part one: the problem in this world is a never ending cycle My dad taught me to run the race and focus to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Part two: activity with no clear direction is little more than a waste of time and energy by Ralph Marston hugz SarahLOU Hi to Jp fortes and ermitanyo st
Jayson M: I learned from my ultimate crush, who is Ms. Maryanne, that life is not that easy, you need to give your best to achieve those dream of yours… And according to her just trust your self and trust others that cares for you, because they are the one who can help you to be a better person.. And don’t give up if you failed because she will always be there to give a hand… So I’m glad that this girl that I really admire is my inspiration to continue and never give up to any problems that I might encounter in life… So thank you very much to you…  Ms. Maryanne…
