Pampanga "Camp Out": Tulay/FMG Musicale

Spent two lovely days in Pampanga with the cast of the Tulay/FMG Musicale. We left Manila at around 7AM and went straight to the Grand Palazzo for breakfast and rehearsals.

In between rehearsals, the cast members and I took time to go around the Grand Palazzo and take some photos!

The show started 7:30PM of July 18, following the pre-program cocktails. The musicale was mounted to celebrate the 83rd birthday of Mekeni Food Corporation‘s founder, Mr. Felix Manalac Garcia. Performers include Pinoy Dream Academy alum & RCS member Miguel Mendoza, The Bloom Brothers, Arti Sta. Rita, La Diva, Isay Alvarez, Robert Sena, Martin Nievera, the Batang cast, the Marikina Ballet Dancers, the Ugnaysining Dance Guild and yours truly. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks to the staff of MMA, Direk Dense Modesto, Direk Jonic Magno and Direk Luis Buenaventura. Thank you to RJ Nazareno for the show photos! ๐Ÿ™‚

haay, what an event! all these was done for just roughly six weeks – the conceptualization, scripting, selection of music, lyrical composition of original music, casting, brainstorming, meet-ups with artists, auditions, preparation of VTRs includes shoot and editing, negotiations, and of course, frequent trips to pampanga.. (whew!) for most people, the event is over; but we're not done yet documenting all the happenings! It was such a huge success! check-out my post at: http://groovesmoothly.blogspot.com/
