06/28/2010 Beauty & Butter Launch

Alex and I were invited to the launch of the hippest face+hands+toes spa place–Beauty and Butter!

After the short program, Alex and I were welcomed by the buttercups (cute name for their attendants) and Liane Tablante, Beauty and Butter’s marketing executive. We looked through the service menu and picked out our treatments–Alex had the manicure w/ hand paraffin treatment while I had the manicure w/ hand spa treatment.

Buttercup Rosie started by removing my nail polish. She then pushed & cut my cuticles, trimmed my nails and filed them in shape. Next, she applied a grainy scrub that smelled really good. My hands were then washed and sloughing lotion was applied to exfoliate the skin. After my hands were washed, Rosie applied a cool, minty mask and wrapped my hands with cling wrap and warm towels to seal in the mask.

Beauty and Butter makes sure that their clients enjoy their pampering experience without getting bored. While we were having our treatments, Alex and I watched Night at the Museum at the huge LCD screen. As for those who don’t like what’s being shown, they’re actually lent Apple IPADs so they can surf the net!

Beauty and Butter offers a bevy of services from head to toe. Guests can choose a facial that best complements their skin’s needs for only P250-P350. There are also different hand and foot pampering packages which can be mixed and matched according to one’s needs and budget. For ladies who want to go a little extreme, the spa/salon also does nail art and acrylic nails. Choose from over a hundred designs by their in-house nail designers. To top off their list of treatments, clients can also have a soothing massage and avail of the hair removal services.
