Moulinex has taken fashion to the next level with “A Promise of Elegance”, the SilverLine grand product launch at the World Food Exhibition (WOFEX) last August 6th 2009. The two-hour event hosted by the lovely DJ Ingrid Nieto was held at the World Trade Center in Manila had an exciting lineup of cooking demos, informative talks, and a special fashion show to end the program. It has without a doubt brought a unique touch of style to the WOFEX 2009.

Brand Marketing Manager for Moulinex, Ms. Jamie Pineda, introduced the newest Moulinex SilverLine collection after the remarkable audio-visual presentation featuring elegant products from their latest product line.

Seasoned master Chef Paul Samson from the American Hospitality Academy also conducted a cooking demo for the event. He is currently the Assistant Director for Operations at the American Hospitality Academy in Makati and has a regular stint as chef host at the academy’s online cooking show at Inquirer.net. Chef Paul Samson showcased cooking techniques for various cuisines fit for the Moulinex SilverLine products. Chef Paul, together with the elegant appliances from the SilverLine collection, treated audiences to a gastronomic experience with sweet ideas and perfect recipes for the family. Audience members were even able to sample the sumptuous treats perfectly prepared using quick and easy SilverLine solutions. Jam-packed with interesting information and cooking tips, master Chef Paul Samson’s simple creations using the new SilverLine appliances showed that life definitely does get easier with Moulinex by your side.

The event ended with an extravagant fashion finale that formally unveiled Moulinex’s latest SilverLine models. The show, under the direction of the very talented fashion director Mr. Jess Soriano, featured the phenomenal creations of designer Ms. Mia Urquico and apparel by Folded & Hung with Moulinex’s lustrous collection. Everybody was completely in awe as real-life young moms entered the stage and walked the runway in the most elegant designs with the SilverLine appliances. Unique in style and ingenious in functionality, Mia Urquico’s couture perfectly matched the sleek design, top class performance and elegance of Moulinex’s new SilverLine.

The successful event was co-presented by Cook Magazine and Folded and Hung and was made possible through sponsors including Karate Kid, American Hospitality Academy, Maya, Pasabahce, Argentina Corned Beef, Century Tuna, Angel Creamer, Walter Wheat Bread and Thermos.
