ON REJECTING THE GOSPEL AND JESUS CHRIST

I’ve been thinking a lot over the weekend how people are so quick to reject anything that they perceive as religious. Once they hear “Christ” “Christian” “eternal life” “salvation” “dying to sin” “Savior”, they tune you out.

Just like the days of Noah, this world has become so vile. Apart from the wars, the earthquakes, floods and all sorts of natural phenomena, people do not take heed. They do not listen to the warnings that the time is coming. Yeah, you can call me crazy, but I would rather be called CRAZY FOR CHRIST, than indulge in worldly folly.

Seriously, have you ever thought of where you’re gonna end up when you die? Do you still think that you will be saved by GOOD WORKS? In John 14:6, Jesus said that HE IS THE ONLY WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. That means, that apart from him YOU CAN NEVER NEVER NEVER BRING YOURSELF TO HEAVEN ON YOUR OWN.

In Ephesians 2:8 it is said
“For it is by grace we have been saved, THROUGH FAITH – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
This is gonna be a little harsh for you if you read it, but let’s say your mother dies. Your mother is the kindest person on earth (according to you and what other people say). Do you think that she will end up in Heaven because she is kind?

I am sorry to burst your bubble, but NO.
No matter how seemingly straight a person’s life is, if he/she does not have Christ, they go to Hell.
Harsh? Don’t go thinking that God is cruel, because he is overflowing with mercy. Think and look back… did anyone tell you about Christ and his saving grace? What did you do about it? Have you heard messages on the radio and television of Christ’s sacrifice and his offer of salvation? That you only have to trust in Him? What did you do about it?

God is just. In Mark 13:10 it is said “and the gospel must first be preached to all the nations”
Every nation will hear. Every soul. Every person.
Now it’s up to you to decide—
Will you entrust your life to Christ?
Will you take on His gift of salvation and be ready to CARRY YOUR CROSS FOR CHRIST?
Or are you thinking “I’d rather experience sin and live life to the fullest first, and when I am about to die, that’s when I give my life to Christ”
Folly.

Who are we to tell when life ends for us? Remember that the Lord is all knowing and He is in control. We are only human beings who are matchless to HIS GREAT POWER AND GLORY. He gives life and he can take it away.

Will you continue to reject the gospel? Think about it. Will you go on and indulge in the pleasures of this world? Well, you can indulge now and suffer later or you can take up Christ’s offer and carry your cross for Him.

Those who reject Christ are subject to the wrath of God (but that is another story, we will touch on the Revelation again). Eternity with God or eternity with the Beast they call Satan? It is no joke folks. The end times are different.
I remember some two weeks back, when the 18th floor of the building where I work in caught flames. I observed the people—fear and panic were painted on their faces. That’s just one floor of a building on fire.

Imagine if suddenly, people go missing. You’re just doing what you’re supposed to do at work, then suddenly your seatmate vanishes into thin air. Planes crash because pilots disappear. The world goes in panic because the disappearances are unexplainable. Stars fall from the sky. Bodies of water turn to blood. Purchasing anything is impossible, if you do not have the mark.
Keep your eyes and ears open.

Matthew 24:5-6
Watch out and don’t let anyone fool you. Many will come and claim to be me. The will use my name and fool many people.
