Psalm 37: 3-4
Trust in the LORD and do good
that you may dwell in the land and live secure.
Find your delight in the LORD
who will give you your heart’s desire.
I don’t know if I shall call that today’s verse but it pretty much gave me hope over the past week. It’s almost the weekend. So much has happened. Attacks from Satan and discouragement from all sides. Only I have to stand firm in the promises of God. I realized I have not been fully submissive to Him. I still, at some point strive to resolve issues that are beyond my control instead of leaving them to Him.
I have let go, and it was good. It’s good to let the Lord carry you out of the dark path–piggy-back you all the way till the end. I trust my Father. Never will I falter for his mercies are new every morning. I am glad that I have my God with me. As today’s verse says, we only have to trust in Him and enjoy his goodness. We are to delight ourselves in Him, enjoy his presence and he shall reward us.
